Wedding coming up....

Our wedding is almost here - July 26, 2008. I can't believe it has almost been a year since we got engaged. We are exhausted from the past 2 weeks on trying to finalize all the last min details. Everything is coming together now. I was super nervous 2 weeks ago when we went through the detailed schedule with our wedding planner. Now I am less nervous and actually more excited. I just hope that everyone will enjoy themselves and have a great time.

For the first time I was successful in being creative (but of course with the help of Dean). We created our own photo montage on my macbook (I love that thing! Its crazy how professional it looks). We also created the invitations, place cards, menu, and table numbers for all 154 guests. I cant believe we did all that and to think that I was so determined to make our own centerpieces. Thank god, Dean stopped me from doing that.

A part of me just want to get this over with but I also want to enjoy every minute of it.   

As for this week, at least my last day at work would be tomorrow. Then parents are flying in on Wed. Thurs will be picking up my dress and finishing last minute details.

The countdown begins...5 more days left...

We FINALLY moved into our new home this Saturday. It worked out perfectly with Thanksgiving weekend.

Sequence of events:

Wednesday - Got our keys at 6pm

Thursday - Cleaned the new home all day

Friday - Black Friday shopping in the morning (bad idea, should've been packing)

Saturday- Moved in and picked up the furniture from Pottery Barn (since we were so eager to fill our place with furniture, we went crazy at Pottery Barn and brought a dining set, couch, and a rug.)

Sunday - Finally got to sleep in but had to unpack and clean our old apartment.

I am so exhausted! However, after a year of waiting, it was all worth it! Everything is slowly coming together.

Although Katsu is still adjusting to our new home, he is enjoying the dog park everyday.

Shiba puppies!!

My best friend decided to get a shiba inu from the same breeder as Katsu. This will be Katsu's step-brother (same dad, different mom)

Here is a video of his 8 week old little boy named Ponzu. He is the one that is standing there. His sister is teasing him to play.

I have some really exciting news that I want to share with everyone.....

I AM ENGAGED!!!!

My bf proposed to me on Saturday and I had no clue it was coming.

8.11.07 - Happiest Day of my Life

A couple of months ago, Katsu did a photo shoot for the Oprah magazine. His photos are featured in this August issue. Please go check him out! His picture is in the table of contents and also on page 217. (The picture on page 218 is not him, it is actually the dog that they did the article on)
